Off We Go...
We're off to talk to the retirement board today. It doesn't get much more official than that. I hope I ask the right questions and even more importantly, I hope they have the right answers!
I'm pretty excited!
Wow. I remember when retirement was part of my package - I was looking thirty years down the line before it could happen. If I were still teaching, this would be it. thirty years later. How does this happen? But whoopee for the Kindergarten Maven!! May the answers please you.
It is doable! And amazing to me that I will get paid that much for not going to work. It is funny though, that after a year of praying and getting no tingle of wrongness, I was a bit nervous yesterday after it was all over...the evil one playing with me...arrrggghh.
